I had a pair of chaco flips that I wore for probably about 8 years. they were supportive, comfy, and never rubbed the wrong way on my feet. The toe strap pulled out several times, and I would jam it back in and squeeze some E6000 in there to secure it temporarily... but eventually it just couldn't be mended anymore. I went a couple years without flips, but I just miss the ease and freedom they provide. These were a good sale price, so I grabbed a pair. I have wide feet. so I most often get men's sizes. These are a bit narrow (though my feet don't hang off around the edges, they do go right TO the edges). and the length is fine.
They are okay flip flops. not the usual quality I have experienced from Chaco in the past. These have soles that are a bit squishy and while they do have a shaped footbed, they just don't have as much support to them as a typical Chaco shoe. The strap material is a bit harsh and grating on the skin. the tags on the shoes will need to be cut off, as they regularly are a sensory nightmare making me think there's something caught in the shoe under my foot.
For the sale price, these are decent. If I had paid full price for them, I would not keep them. They're going to be fine for quick trips to the poultry pens for chores. I doubt they will be good for all day wear and out running errands like my old ones were.
Definitely good for beach use or quick on/of to grab mail or whatnot. I do recommend as a step up from basic department store flips. Definitely check the sizing before deciding for sure... and I'll look at other Chaco models to try and match the nice solid footbed and soft webbing or leather straps of my previous pairs.
