Store Returns and Refunds

We ask that items be returned in their original unworn condition in their original packaging. The store sales receipt is required although often our associates are able to research the information. If returned within 30 days of the date of purchase, a refund will be issued based on the original form of payment. After 30 days, a Lamey Wellehan gift card may be issued. If the purchase was made with a personal check, there is a ten-day clearing period before the refund can be issued. Note that any returned checks are processed through a third party agency and a $35 fee may be automatically collected electronically. For credit card purchases made in-store, that original credit card must be present for a refund.

Due to the individual nature of feet, we cannot guarantee fit or comfort of the items we sell. If you are unsure about the comfort of the shoe, please wear them for short periods of time in your house with the understanding that only clean, resellable merchandise can be returned. Should a product have a manufacturing defect affecting shoe performance, bring in the product for evaluation. If within 60 days we will have the product professionally repaired, replaced or (if a replacement cannot be ordered) refunded

Online Purchases

We know that sometimes shoes just don't fit. We want to make returns as easy as possible for you. You may return your purchase to any Lamey Wellehan store or you can ship them to us.

If shipping, use the carrier of your choice and we recommend requesting a tracking code and shipping receipt. Lamey Wellehan is not responsible for packages lost in transit. Pack the item properly to prevent damage to the merchandise and/or its own box or packaging. Mail the package to this address:

Email explaining if you request an exchange or a refund. Please include your name and order number and contact information. To assist our warehouse, please include your name and order number inside or on the shipping carton.

You also can return your online purchase to any Lamey Wellehan store. Refunds require the original credit card used for purchases. Please note that PayPal purchases cannot be refunded at the store level and a LW Gift Card will be issued. Merchandise needs to be returned to its original condition. Contact if you have any questions about your return. For card refunds, please note once Lamey Wellehan initiates the credit for your return, your bank determines the date the refund will post to your account. For exact posting dates, please contact your credit/debit company directly. 

Our Growth Spurt Promise

We want you and your children to love their shoes. We know you’re invested in their foot health and wellbeing. It can be bittersweet when their growth spurts sneak up after shoe shopping. On the one hand, they’re flourishing, but what about those shoes you just bought that are now too small? That’s why we offer the Lamey Wellehan Growth Spurt Promise. It’s our effort to minimize growing pains. If your little one grows out of their professionally fitted shoes within 30 days of purchase, you will receive a complimentary replacement of the same or similar style and color in the next appropriate size. Just bring your child and their outgrown shoes into your local Lamey Wellehan store and we’ll measure and fit them to a larger size. Please note that the replacement will not exceed the value of the original purchase. Also, your child must be professionally fit in-store at time of purchase and when the replacement is suited in order to ensure proper size and fit. This offer is valid at Lamey Wellehan stores and pending availability, an alternate style and/or color will be selected based on the needs of your child.

Shop with Ease - Price Match Guarantee

Lamey Wellehan Shoes and consistently work toward maintaining competitive prices on everything we carry and will match the price of vendor websites, as well as key online and local competitors.

Guidelines and limitations:

  • The item must be the identical item, brand name, size, weight, color, quantity, and model number. It must be in stock at the time of Price Match.
  • We will price match all vendor sites.
  • Online competitor matches are limited to items sold and fulfilled by key online and local competitors. Offers found on deal websites will be validated at retailer’s primary website and must meet all other price match criteria.
  • The price for an item/offer must be listed and valid at the time of the match. We reserve the right to verify a competitor’s advertised price and the availability of the item.
  • Please bring the entire printed ad, or show the online price or digital version of the ad on your mobile device for proof of price.
  • We match prices on in-store purchases and in-store prices for purchases.
  • We reserve the right to limit quantities of price matches per identical item per guest for local and/or online competitor matches.

There are exclusions. Clearance items, closeout products, liquidation sales, damaged, used, open package, refurbished or salvage merchandise are excluded. This also excludes storewide or unspecific offers and prices that only display on a website after a guest login/member log-in sites. We also won’t match pricing or typographical errors or coupon offers. Prices from third-party marketplace sellers will not be honored.
