Almost perfect

I've had mine for 2 years, they're still comfortable & awesome for hiking. The only reason I didn't give a 5 🌟 rating is because on the side of the boot where the rubber (or whatever the material is) meets the leather, the cement wore off pretty quickly & the leather rotted. It took 18 +/- months of heavy use but good upkeep after I noticed a slight separation to do that though. Had I known this would happen I would have had them repaired right away. Both boots are at an independent repair shop now, 1 getting fixed & the other getting preventative maintenance done. I guess my only complaint really is that I feel like the boots should have lasted more than 18-24 months after purchase before needing professional repair.

Comfortable toe room

Love my Keen Targhee II’s. Try them against the new tardy threes and found that the older version has a larger toebox or more room. Wound up staying with the older version. Although the newer ones look like they have a better soul as far as staying all together in one piece. The older Targhee II sole came apart on me so I was hesitant to buy them again. But decided to try one more pair because it is the most comfortable hiker I have found. ( my husband’s Targhee II fell apart too.
