Quadrastep prefabricated orthotics are based on a clinical assessment algorithm which identifies and differentiates the structural and functional aspects of the foot into 6 specific foot “types”. These orthoses are manufactured from an injection molded thermoplastic compound which has a unique combination of strength and comfort, giving superior support.
The Quadrastep E is often for feet that have a combined uncompensated rear foot varus, coupled with a large rigid forefoot varus. This orthotic has a mild medial flare, medial rear foot and forefoot posting and a cut out for the 5th metatarsal head. This type of orthotic is often good for those with shin splints, plantar fasciitis, a tailor’s bunion or those with medial knee pain.
