The experienced runner will find the ideal pace shoe in Mach 5 while this model can function as a competition shoe for the recreational runner. This Mach 5 is even smoother and softer than its predecessor. The stacked midsole of PROFLY™ is a super lightweight, responsive, yet incredibly soft layer of foam. This translates into outstanding cushioning when landing. Then again, with every push-off, you'll experience a propulsive effect. Just below that is a rubber EVA outsole that also provides good cushioning. The outsole also provides an energetic contact with the ground. The Meta-Rocker system, which ensures a smooth foot roll, is not missing in this edition either.
