Haflinger - Women
Haflinger created loyalty 50 years ago with nature-minded footwear and their focus on workmanship. German born boiled wool and wool felt clogs were brought to the U.S. and Canada in 1991 by Gerda Hoehm with hopes of success. The Haflinger name comes from a breed of work horse that assisted on local farms. The reception from North America was and is undeniable with new lines harmonizing with the traditional. The philosophy of Haflinger is, "a comfortable foot is a healthy foot." Since wool is a natural insulator, it can be comfortably worn year round. Clogs are skillfully toned to the attention of space by letting feet expand and contract freely. Their lines have cultivated into leather & hemp, shearling, all-natural and city collections. Tradition breeds leaders, change cultivates proactive style, and Haflinger is committed to both.
